Lambertia formosa Honey flower, Mountain devil Family: Proteaceae Lambertia formosa is a rigidly branched shrub up to 2m high and wide. It is widespread over open forests and heath, The leaves are 3-5 cm long, hard, glossy green, paler underneath, with a sharp point. The fruit of Lambertia formosa is about 10mm across, woody with a short beak and a long horn on each of the two valves - the Mountain Devil. Lambertia formosa flowers through the year but mainly in the spring and early summer.
