Grevillea sericea ssp. sericea

Grevillea sericea ssp. sericea is an upright shrub up to 2m high. The stiff leaves are narrow and straight or oval, with hard pointed tips. A layer of silky hairs give them a silver appearance underneath.

The flowers of Grevillea sericea ssp. sericea vary in colour from pale to mauvish pink. They are up to 15mm long with the curved style always longer than 12mm. The name sericea means silky.

Grevillea sericea ssp. sericea flowers from July to September.
